Scope and non-goals

In scope

SpeakerOps owns program operations for multi-day tech conferences: CFP forms with conditionals, public submit, evaluation, decisions, speaker portal tasks, files, templated comms with calendar invites, conflict-aware scheduling, readiness, scoped API keys, CLI parity, and Cloudflare deployment.

Non-goals

The product does not try to replace CRM suites, marketing automation clouds, awards application systems, SMS gateways, app marketplaces, or payment collection on forms. Optional one-way Airtable projection is not a dual write system of record.

Why the boundary exists

Depth beats breadth for program teams. Every non-goal avoided is time spent on conflict-aware scheduling, readiness honesty, and agent-safe commands. If you need a non-goal system, integrate at the edges with exports, webhooks you own, or optional projection — do not fork SpeakerOps into an everything suite.
